Oregon Women's Basketball Takes Down CSU Bakersfield 77-62
The Oregon Women's Basketball team moved to 2-0 on the season, after defeating CSU Bakersfield 77-62 Friday night at Matthew Knight Arena. Most of the Oregon production came from the bench, as freshmen Ruthy Hebard had a game high 23 points and 10 rebounds. Sierra Campisano played big in her 11 minutes, coming away with 12 points. Oregon continued to show off a big recruiting class, as freshmen Sabrina Ionescu added 14 points on 6-16 shooting. For the Road Runners, Aja Williams carried the point load for the night, she was able to put up 21 points on the evening. Oregon will look to continue to get big bench production this season, but will also need to get more out of the starters as standout Lexi Bando was 0-2 on the night. Oregon will take on UTSA at 2pm on Sunday, at Matthew Knight Arena.
