The Oregon Ducks returned to their winning ways with a 45-24 win over Cal on Saturday, but thanks to injuries to Justin Herbert and Royce Freeman has left the team's future shrouded in doubt. After jumping out to a 17-0 lead, Oregon lost their two offensive leaders and struggled to a 17-7 lead at halftime. Behind the arm of backup quarterback Taylor Alie and the combination of Kani Benoit and Tony Brooks-James, the Oregon offense managed to pad their lead and used a dominating defensive performance to seal the victory in front of the Autzen crowd. When it was all said and done, the Ducks had accumulated over 300 yards on the ground while holding the Golden Bears to just 8 yards.
