Walk-on tight end Ryan Bay started for the first time in his three-year collegiate career in the Oregon Ducks' 45-24 win over Cal on Saturday at Autzen Stadium. The redshirt sophomore did not play high school football as a sophomore or junior, but his senior season at Tigard High School earned him a scholarship offer from Eastern Washington and a walk-on spot at Oregon. After three straight matches on the road, the Oregon Ducks women's volleyball team returns to Matthew Knight Arena on Friday night to host the defending national champion and No. 2 Stanford Cardinal (8:00 p.m., KWVA Eugene 88.1 FM). The Ducks won one of the three road matches but all teams were at the least receiving votes in the top-25 poll.
