Ducks come up short on Senior day with a 2-0 loss against Colorado

Emotions were high today at Papé Field for Senior day against the Colorado Buffs. Players Jordan Fleming, Abby Morrow, Michelle Rockey, Mia Costa, and captains Miranda Schulz and Caitlyn Wong have shown their dedication from start to finish. They all have impacted the team and helped change the culture of Oregon Soccer. The Ducks had a slow start with low intensity but players broke through and maintained possession throughout the game. However, the Buffs came out strong the second half and managed to put two up on the board. Oregon continued to fight but came up short in the end. The Ducks will move to 8-10 in the season and 2-8 in Pac-12 play. The Ducks will finish off their schedule at Oregon State for the Civil War game at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oregon Football Runs Over Utah in 41-20 Victory

The Oregon Ducks snapped their three game losing streak as they ran all over Utah at Autzen Stadium on Saturday. Royce Freeman (139) and Tony Brooks-James (105) each totaled over 100 yards on the ground as the Ducks ran for 347 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Oregon also got noticeable improvement from Braxton Burmeister fourth start, who went 9-12 and 47 yards and one touchdown. Perhaps the biggest difference for Oregon came from the big plays as they scored on both a trick play that saw Charles Nelson throw a touchdown to Jacob Breeland and Ugo Amadi scoring after stripping former Duck Darren Carrington. Carrington found success in his return to Eugene with 130 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the stout defensive performance from Oregon. The Ducks grabbed 10 tackles for loss, including four sacks as they shut down the Utah attack. Listen below to stories on Oregon's big plays and strong defense in their resounding victory.
