The #9 Oregon Ducks defeated Southern Utah 98-38 on Saturday. Oregon's balance was the story as four Ducks scored in double figures. Sabrina Ionescu was a part of the group of Ducks, tallying 16 points and 12 assists. Overall, Lexi Bando was the leading scorer with 17 points including four three-pointers. Defensively, Oregon held SUU to a 27% from the field along with forcing 19 turnovers. The team also had 30 assists on 36 made baskets. The win moves Oregon to 8-1 on the young season. Elijah Brown led the scoring for the Ducks, as he finished with 20 points on 7-9 shooting and 4-6 from 3-point range. Cristobal, along with the voice of Oregon Football, Jerry Allen, University of Oregon President Michael Schill and Athletic Director Rob Mullens, got in front of the media Friday afternoon to talk about the announcement.
