AUDIO: No. 19 Oregon Football Attempts to Move Past Heartbreak

Following its crushing overtime defeat the previous Saturday at the hands of No. 7 Stanford, No. 19 Oregon football has no time to dwell on the past as they leave the safety of Autzen Stadium this week and travel to meet California (3-0). Though the memory of the collapse in the final minute by the Ducks, which was instigated by CJ Verdell's fumble, remains, head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff will try and lead the team to a strong response. The loss came with plenty of positives, none more apparent than quarteback Justin Herbert's impressive performance, and wide receiver Dillon Mitchell's historic night. But with its record now at 3-1 on the year, and owning a 0-1 mark in Pac-12 play, Oregon can't afford any more moral victories. Listen below as Cristobal addressed the media Monday morning as the Ducks turn their attention to another conference foe in Cal. Head Coach Mario CristobalRead More

VB | No. 12 Oregon Comes From Behind to Down No. 22 Washington St.

In the most even matchup of the season, Oregon Volleyball was put to the test when the Washington St. Cougars came to Eugene. Fresh off a loss to No. 13 Washington, Wazzou was hungry for their first Pac-12 win. They got off to a quick start, taking the first set 25-22. Oregon, who tallied three service errors in that set, matched the Cougars' intensity and won set two 25-22. Set three showed a high-octane Oregon offense trade points with Wazzou before faltering and allowing a 25-22 set-win for the Cougars. Set four was a different story, as the teams traded leads three times and saw the score even 11 times. Led by Lindsey Vander Weide, who moved into seventh all-time for most career points by a Duck, Oregon was able to secure a 25-23 set win before going on to take the match on a 15-12 win in the final set. Vander Weide posted a 20-20 day with 22 kills and 28 digs. Wazzou's McKenna Woodford also had a stellar day, striking for 20 kills and a .288 hit percentage. Oregon moves to… Read More
