UO Women Win Second Consecutive Game Behind Jillian Alleyne with a 101-85 Victory Over Washington

Jillian Alleyne had a monster game Sunday against Washington in Matthew Knight Arena, pulling down 25 boards and pouring in 34 points. The game was close at the half, 46-42 Ducks before Alleyne exploded with 22 second half points. The win marked the Ducks second consecutive win and a sweep of the Washington schools. Next weekend the Ducks take to the road to take on the Arizona schools with the Wildcats on Friday, and the Sun Devils on Sunday. -Chris Clayton

WEEKEND WATCH: High School Hoops Return to KWVA Tonight

After a successful 2014 debut last week, South Eugene High School boys basketball returns to KWVA tonight, as the Axemen head to North Eugene for a showdown with the Highlanders. Anthony Piganelli and Nick Nathanielsz will have the call just after 7:00 pm. Before the game tips off, tune into Quack Smack at 6:00 pm with Aaron Green, Spencer Kellar and Geoff Safford. They'll be talking about both Oregon basketball teams among other topics. Elsewhere this weekend, we'll have reporters at both women's basketball games against the Washington schools this weekend. You can also hear more South Eugene basketball as both the boys and girls teams take the floor against Lincoln Saturday night. Doubleheader action begins at 5:45 here.
