The Oregon Relays day 2 came to a close April 18, 2014. Men took first in the Decathlon and Women took second and fifth. Dakotah Keys dominated the men’s decathlon winning 8 of the 10 events over the two day competition. Dakotah set a new decathlon personal record scoring 8,027 points, which ties him with Craig Brigham for #4 all-time at the University of Oregon. Dakotah felt that his training paid off as he set a new personal record in the 1500 meters, the final event in the decathlon, with a time of 4 minutes 24.21 seconds. Cheridan Hawkins picked up the complete game victory, allowing just three hits and one earned run.
