Duck's Volleyball Wins First Round in 3 Sets

12-4-2014 The Oregon Ducks Women’s Volleyball Team defeated Santa Clara in first round of the 2014 NCAA Championship Thursday December 4th. The Ducks defeated the Broncos in just 3 sets (25-15; 25-17; 15-16). Coach Moore says a lot of the game was won tonight with blocks, which is something the team struggled with earlier in the season. Warner, who led the team with 11 blocks tonight, said it was rewarding to see the blocks go up. Looking forward to the LSU match-up less than 24 hours away Bettendorf says the key to having a good game is to rest. The Ducks play LSU in round two of the tournament Friday December 5th at 4:00 P.M in Matthew Knight arena. Kelsy Alston KWVA Sports
