MBB: The Ducks Lose Their PAC-12 Opener By 10

The Ducks couldn’t finish the job against the Utes, losing a close game 66-56. After the Ducks went into halftime up eight, 31-23, the Utes went on a little run to start the second half and that seemed to be enough to push them to victory. Troy Brown finished with 16 points and 6 rebounds, but 12 of those points came in the first half. Also, MiKyle McIntosh scored 11 of his 14 points in the first half. The Ducks shot 38.1% from the field and 4-14 from the three-point line in the second half and as a result of this were outscored 43-25.

For the Utes, starting guards Justin Bibbins had 19 points on 5 made three’s and Sedrick Barefield had 16 points.They also shot a blistering 56% from the field and 5-11 from three-point range in the second half. The Ducks next game is on Sunday at home against Colorado at 7 pm.
