The Ducks defeated the Cougars in their Pac-12 opener 89-56. Four of the Ducks starters scored in double figures, led by Ruthy Hebard and Sabrina Ionescu, who each scored 25 points. Also, the Ducks had 20 assists on 34 made field goals and Ionescu and Maite Cazorla combined for 16 of those 20 assists. The Ducks also finished with 42 points in the paint. For the Cougars, Louise Brown paced her team in scoring with 12 points and Kayla Washington chipped in 10 points. The Ducks next game is on Dec. 31st at home against Washington at 1 pm.
