By Ryan Rouillard For the sixth straight season, the 2nd-seeded Oregon softball team will play in a super regional. For the third straight year, they'll get to host. The Ducks will meet the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the Eugene super regional, starting Friday night at Howe Field. The winner of the best-of-3 series will advance to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City, OK. NC State won the Harrisonburg, VA regional over the weekend, which included a win over the host and #15 seed James Madison. The Wolfpack come to Eugene with a 38-20 record on the year. It's the first time NC State has made a super regional. They are led by Emily Weiman in the circle, sporting a 31-15 record and a 2.34 ERA in her senior season. At the plate, senior Renada Davis hits .387 with 13 home runs and 41 RBI and is the all-time leader in home runs in the ACC (63). The two teams have only met once previously.
