We broadcast a variety of sports from the University of Oregon, Bushnell University, Lane Community College, and local high schools live on 88.1 FM and our streams. Our sports department produces detailed game and feature stories, in-depth talk shows, and broadcasts of live events.
Sports Department Presents "Weekend in Washington"
The KWVA Sports Department is excited to present "Weekend in Washington," next Friday through Sunday. Starting Friday night, and continuing all the way to Sunday afternoon, the KWVA sports staff will broadcast three different Oregon games from the state of Washington, including a football game and two volleyball matches.
Fans can tune in to all the action on 88.1 FM or listen online. The staff will also be posting constant updates on Twitter, and you can follow along with the hashtag #WeekendInWashington.
The full schedule of events for "Weekend in Washington" is as follows:
- Friday, 8:00 pm - Volleyball at Washington
- Saturday, 7:30 pm - Football at Washington
- Sunday, 1:00 - Volleyball at Washington State
