One day after Matt Krook set his career high for strikeouts, starting pitcher David Peterson did the same, striking out 13 while giving up only one run, unearned, in the first inning as he led #11 Oregon to the series win over visiting UCSB. The Ducks responded to Peterson's only blemish with two runs of their own in the bottom of the first and tacked on an extra in the third to secure the 3-1 win. Oregon moves to 8-2 with the win, and will next play at Alabama on Thursday, March 10.
