The NCU Beacons won a shootout over the Evergreen State Goeducks by a score of 90-77. The Beacons took the lead and didn’t look back leading wire to wire which was helped by a fast start. Both teams relied heavily on the three ball with NCU putting up 35 in total and Evergreen State putting up 16. Despite a slow start to the second half the Beacons stayed ahead to secure the victory. The Beacons also got a much needed win after losing the last three. With this win the Beacons advance to 16-7 overall and 8-5 in conference. Up next the Beacons play the Warner Pacific University Knights up in Portland on February 1st.
