No. 21 Oregon men’s basketball returns home to Matthew Knight Arena for the conclusion of the 2k Empire Classic, as the Ducks host Green Bay on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Oregon (3-1) took third place in the tournament last Friday after splitting its trip to New York and Madison Square Garden. The Ducks fell to Iowa in the semifinals 69-77, before defeating then No. 15 Syracuse 80-65. The split dropped Oregon eight spots in this week’s AP Top 25, though the win over the Orange was the program’s first over a top-15 non-conference opponent since 2002. Green Bay has gone 1-1 in the tournament thus far, with a 82-78 win over Eastern Washington in overtime and a 82-93 loss to Iowa. Tuesday’s game will be the only one for Oregon this holiday week and the Ducks will host Texas Southern on the following Monday.
