WLAX: Ducks thrash Sun Devils, set new season-high in points

The Oregon Lacrosse team opened the second half of Pac-12 play with a big 21 to 8 victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils. The Ducks led in every major statistical category on the way to their seventh win of the season. Oregon was led by Jill Zubillaga, who tallied six scores, all in the first half of the game and helped Oregon to a 17-3 lead at halftime. The Ducks played a slew of different players in the second half, which allowed the Sun Devils to build a little momentum and outscore the Ducks 5-4. While the Sun Devils were never able to muster any consistency, they forced eight Duck-turnovers, which they were able to convert into points on two separate occasions. The Ducks scored their most points in a game all season and will look to harness the momentum from this win in their game against USC on Sunday, April 6.
