Oregon Soccer started bright against Washington State, but after Halla Hinriksdottir’s clearance was blocked and then scored by Cougars’ forward Brianna Alger in the 20th minute, UO struggled to gain momentum back. Washington State doubled up before half, and a Mia Costa tap-in off of Marissa Everett free kick in the 58th minute was not enough to complete the comeback. Oregon, now 6-6 on the year and 0-4 in conference, must now prepare for Washington on Sunday at 1 PM.
