The Oregon Ducks defeated the UC-Irvine Anteaters 7-2 on Sunday at PK Park. This win gave Oregon the sweep in their final full out-of-conference series of the season. Earning the start was Isaiah Carranza who went 6 innings, allowing seven hits, 2 unearned runs, one walk and three strikeouts. Six separate Ducks earned at least a RBI each, including Tim Susnara, who got his on an inside-the-park home run to left field. The Ducks defense did take some time to warm up, committing an error in both the first and second innings. The Ducks will take on the Portland Pilots on Tuesday at home before going on the road to Tuscon to play Arizona.
