Oregon never took their foot off the gas en route to absolutely dominate games, winning Game 1 vs. Utah Valley University 7-0, and then run-ruling them in 5 19-0. Both games, Tuesday, featured off-the-chart batting with 3 home runs combined, 2 of which were grand slams. Although the pitching could be buried beneath the plethora of offensive stats, Cheridan Hawkins’ performance was not. She moved into the #1 spot on Oregon’s All-Time Career Wins column. The Ducks will travel to Berkeley to face California starting Friday, going into the weekend.
