KWVA Hiring 2016-2017 General Information/Application Procedures

Each spring KWVA seeks applicants for all Student Staff positions.

 

We will be accepting applications until noon on Monday, May 16th.  Positions are for the 2016-2017 academic year, beginning July 1, 2016 and ending June 30, 2017.  The Student Staffs are responsible for the daily operation of KWVA, at various levels depending on position.  The positions include:

 

Social Media Coordinator (2 positions)

Underwriting Associate (3 positions)

Design & Merchandise Outreach Associate

Marketing Director

Assistant News Director

News Director

Production Director

Assistant Music Director

Music Blog Coordinator

Music Director

Assistant General Manager

 

No experience is necessary for most positions.  All positions are open to University of Oregon students enrolled at least half-time for three of the four terms.  Positions are paid a stipend per term, as indicated on the job description.

 

All positions will begin training approximately May 20th, 2016.  Job duties begin July 1st, 2015 and end June 30th, 2017.  Applicants must be in Eugene during the entire 12-month period (this is negotiable for some positions so apply regardless and we’ll discuss).
