SB: UCLA Snaps Oregon’s 18 Game Win Streak With 16-6 Rout

Following a sweep of the Stanford Cardinal, the Oregon Softball team returned home to Jane Sanders Stadium to take on UCLA, whose offense surged against the Ducks on Friday night in a 16-6 victory. Oregon’s pitching struggled to find its groove, allowing UCLA to take control from the beginning. A big second inning ultimately sealed the Ducks’ fate. Geri Anne Glasco took over for Cheridan Hawkins in the circle early in the game. Glasco threw 2.2 innings of relief and gave up four earned runs. The UCLA bats were led by Madeline Jelenicki, Gabrielle Maurice, and Brianna Tautalafua. All three players combined for nine total RBIs, with 3 each. Nikki Udria added 2 RBIs for the Ducks and Hailey Decker hit a rare inside the park home run.
