AUDIO: Troy Dye Speaks To The Media Regarding His Decision To Stay For His Senior Year

Thursday afternoon, Junior Linebacker Troy Dye announced in a tweet that he will forgo the NFL Draft and stay for his Senior year. This is big news for Ducks fans as Dye was Oregon’s leading tackler for each of the last three years. His return coupled with Lamar Winston Jr staying preserves a veteran linebacker group. Many speculated that Dye’s return was largely influenced by the fact that Oregon landed the nation’s #1 recruit Keyvon Thibodeaux, Justin Herbert is staying, and the ability to play one more season with his younger brother, Travis. Oregon returns seven starters on the defensive side of the ball.
