VB | No. 16 Oregon Volleyball Cruises to Four-Set Victory Over No. 23 Arizona

No. 16 Oregon volleyball finished off its weekend in the desert in impressive fashion, defeating No. 23 Arizona in four sets 25-22, 25-22, 22-25, and 25-17 on Sunday. The Ducks were led by Lindsey Vander Weide and her 17 kills on 40 attacks and five errors for a hitting percentage of .300. The senior also contributed 12 digs and four blocks, good for a double-double on the day. Oregon got another strong outing from freshmen libero Brooke Nuneviller, who finished the weekend with 45 total digs after 27 on Sunday. The Ducks leaned heavily on its service game, which tallied nine aces, four of which came from Nuneviller. The win completes the weekend road sweep and moves Oregon to 15-7 and 8-4 in Pac-12 play, good for a tie at second in the standings.
