AUDIO: Back to the Drawing Board for No. 19 Oregon Football

It’s back to the drawing board for No. 19 Oregon football (5-2, 2-2) following a disappointing 34-20 loss to No. 14 Washington State (6-1, 3-1) in Pullman last Saturday. The loss was highlighted by a dismal 58 yards on the ground and the zero points the Ducks’ offense mustered in the first half en route to a 27-0 deficit. Despite outscoring the Cougars 20-7 in the second half, Oregon couldn’t overcome Mike Leach’s air raid offense that tallied 323 yards and four touchdown from quarterback Gardner Minshew II. Next up for Oregon is another road trip, this time to the Tucson desert for a meeting with Arizona (3-5, 2-3). It’ll be the first non-ranked opponent for Oregon after their first four conference foes all appeared in the top 25. With the whispers of a playoff run silenced and an increasingly complicated path to the Pac-12 north title, the Ducks are looking to stabilize and prepare for the season’s final stretch. Listen below as head coach Mario Cristobal spoke with the media at his weekly press conference on Monday morning.
