WSOC | Marissa Everett’s game-winner lifts Oregon soccer to 1-0 win over Clemson

Oregon soccer capitalized on a second-half chance for Marissa Everett to beat Clemson 1-0 and improve the season record to 2-0 after the opening weekend of the 2018 season. Everett’s goal is her second of the season, her 12th of her career, and seventh game-winning goal in an Oregon jersey. Goalkeeper Halla Hinriksdottir had one save on the night as Clemson struggled to keep its shots on frame. The Ducks now head to Lincoln, Nebraska to take on Nebraska and Kansas before coming home to face Dartmouth on Aug. 31.
