AUDIO: Defense Hoping to Make More Strides for Oregon Football

The departure of Willie Taggart after last year’s regular season opened assistant coaching spots for new head coach Mario Cristobal to fill. One of those spots went to Cort Dennison, a former Washington Huskie that now operates as Oregon’s outside linebackers coach. Much like Cristobal, Dennison saw positives from the defense’s front seven in last weekend’s scrimmage, but is looking to the rest of the spring as an opportunity to make more strides. The Ducks got that chance on Thursday morning as they hit the practice fields once again. Listen below to the full interview with Dennison prior to practice, including a chat with Deommodere Lenoir, a sophomore cornerback expected to step into a larger role in the secondary this upcoming fall.
