Through three innings at Jane Sanders Stadium it looked like it would be a rubber match, for the Ducks were down 1-0 entering the bottom half of the fourth. That was before the Duck’s monster fourth inning, where they put seven runs across the board, including a Mary Iokopo grand slam for her second career home-run. Maggie Balint’s only struggles came in the second inning and she did not look back, striking out six and only walking one in her one run 5 innings pitched gem. The Ducks look to go 2-0 in the Oregon Invitation as they have a rematch with the Wildcats in game one of their double header on March 10 at 5 pm.
