VB: Oregon Finds the Win Column in Five Sets to Close Regular Season

Coming off four-straight losses, the Oregon Ducks volleyball team defeated the Oregon State Beavers in five close sets at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon. The two teams swapped sets the entire match. The Ducks won 25-22, 16-25, 25-21, 21-25, and 15-9. A balanced offensive attack paced Oregon to victory on Friday night as five different Ducks were in double figures in kills. Ronika Stone led the way with 14 kills, followed by Taylor Agost (12), Willow Johnson (11), Lindsey Vander Weide (11), and Jolie Rasmussen (10). The win is Oregon’s first since a November 9th sweep of Arizona State in Tempe, Arizona. Oregon now awaits its postseason fate to determine where and when the team will play in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. The Selection Show is set for Sunday, November 26 at 6:00 p.m. on ESPNU.
