Oregon Lifeless in 33-10 Loss to Washington State

The Oregon Ducks football team lost for the third-consecutive time against the Washington State Cougars, falling 33-10 on Saturday night at Autzen Stadium. After the first quarter, the Ducks held a 10-7 lead over the No. 11 Cougars, but the Ducks didn’t score in the final three quarters while Washington State rattled off 26-straight points to cruise to the team’s sixth victory to open the season. After Justin Hebert fractured his collarbone in last week’s win over Cal, true freshman Braxton Burmeister made his first career start and finished 15-27 with 145 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Washington State’s Luke Falk finished 24-42 with 282 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. The loss drops Oregon to 4-2 on the season ahead of a Week 7 matchup vs. the Stanford Cardinal in Palo Alto on Saturday, October 14th at 8:00 p.m. Below is full game coverage, including stories and interviews.
