AUDIO: Oregon Survives Nebraska’s Second-Half Rally, Improves to 2-0

The Oregon Ducks used a strong first half and fought off a pesky Nebraska team to win 42-35 and improve to 2-0 under head coach Willie Taggart on Saturday at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.

Much like in Week 1 against Southern Utah, the Ducks started quickly against its Big Ten foe and led 42-14 at half time. Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert threw for 313 yards and three touchdowns through the first three quarters to push the Ducks to a 28-point halftime lead.

The second half was an entirely different story. Nebraska won the third quarter 14-0 and added a third touchdown in the fourth. Down by seven late in the game, the Cornhuskers possessed the ball but quarterback Tanner Lee threw his fourth interception of the contest (this one by Ugo Amadi) and Oregon stayed on top.
