SB: Oregon falls in game one of series to Washington

The Oregon Ducks, following a series loss at UCLA, were unable to find victory against #12 ranked Washington as they fell 4-2. The Ducks fell behind early with an error in the first by Nikki Udria that gave the Huskies a 1-0 lead. The Oregon offense would rally back with two runs of their own in the fourth inning to give them the lead before falling behind in the next half inning off an Aguilar two run homer to center. Balint did put together a solid outing, notching five innings, five hits, three runs, two of which were earned, and three strikeouts. Offensively, the Ducks managed just four hits but also got on base six times via walks. The Ducks will look to swing the momentum back in their favor Friday night when they take on the Huskies again at Jane Sanders Stadium.
