Oregon Softball kept their undefeated season alive Thursday night, edging the visiting BYU Cougars 1-0 on Nikki Udria’s 6th inning RBI single. The 3rd-ranked Ducks were stifled for most of the game by #25 BYU’s McKenna Bull, who struck out 8 and allowed only 3 hits in 6 innings pitch. However, Miranda Elish matched Bull with 5.1 scoreless innings before Maggie Balint entered the game and struck out all five batters she faced. The Ducks (30-0) will next begin a conference series with Arizona State (23-9) at Jane Sanders Stadium on Friday.
