SB: The Ducks take two in their doubleheader of the Oregon Invitational

The Oregon Ducks came back home to Jane Sanders Stadium in Eugene to begin a sleight of games for the Oregon Invitational. On Friday, they began their play in the competition with a doubleheader against the Hofstra Pride and the Idaho State Bengals. The Ducks had a good showing offensively against Hofstra winning the game 16-0 in five innings and needing the entire seven innings to put away Idaho State 9-3. In the first game against the Pride, two Oregon pitchers, Megan Kleist and Miranda Elish, catapulted their first career homeruns to put an exclamation mark on a strong showing in front of their home crowd. Mike White’s squad improves their record to 21-0 and will face the University of the Pacific on Saturday morning at Jane Sanders Stadium.
