The 13th ranked Ducks dominated the fifth ranked Arizona Wildcats on Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena, winning 85-58. The upset came as a result of an efficient game from the 3-point line for Oregon. As a team, Oregon finished 16-25 from downtown, compared to Arizona’s 5-17. Tyler Dorsey led the team in points with 23, after shooting 6-6 from the 3-point line. Oregon also gave the Wildcats trouble from a defensive standpoint. Oregon held Arizona to just 18 first half points, and held Arizona to 42.6% shooting. Oregon now holds the longest active home win streak in the nation, having won 40 consecutive games at Matthew Knight Arena. Oregon will now move it’s attention to Thursday, when it takes on UCLA on the road.
