Oregon Women’s Volleyball Rebounds with Sweep of 20th Ranked California

After a tough loss Thursday night to Stanford, the Oregon Ducks bounced back Friday with a 3-0 sweep of the 20th ranked, 17-8 overall and 10-6 in Pac-12 play, California Golden Bears. All three sets oddly finished with identical scores of 25-21 in favor of the Ducks. Lauren Plum played well with 40 assists, and Liz Brenner as usual led Oregon in kills with 18. Ariana Williams played well for UO with 11 kills, and freshman Serena Warner added an early offensive boost while finishing with four kills. Amanda Benson led Oregon’s defense with 24 digs. Oregon plays next Friday, November 22nd against Utah in Salt Lake City at 6 p.m.
