STORY: Oregon Women's Basketball Breaks Away From Kansas State, 89-51

In the last official non-conference game before Pac-12 play, Oregon used an electric third quarter to dominate Kansas State, 89-51. It wasn't all pretty for the Ducks in the second half, as a back-and-forth 1st quarter ended 14-10. In that quarter, Oregon committed 5 turnovers. In the second quarter, Junior forward Erin Boley sparked Oregon's offense with efficient 3 point shooting. It wasn't only electric offense for the Ducks, but Oregon went on a 16-2 run throughout the second quarter by not allowing a Kansas State field goal for over 4 minutes. Erin Boley finished the first half with 16 points, and Oregon led 38-27. In the second half, Oregon started to break the game wide open. The Ducks went on an 11-0 run to start the quarter and made 9 of its first 11 FGs. Sabrina Ionescu tallied her 21st career triple-double (21 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists) late in the third quarter. After a 31 point third quarter, Oregon led 69-41. The Ducks continued to pour it on in the fourth quarter, and took the 38 point victory. As a team, Oregon shot 50%, and were led by Ionescu, Boley (18 points, 7-10 FG), and Sabally (14 points, 8 rebounds). 10 different players scored for Oregon in a full team effort. Oregon will play an exhibition game against Corban on December 28th, before beginning Pac-12 play on January 3rd against Colorado.
