Story: Oregon Soccer Excels On Both Ends Against Villanova

Oregon Soccer remains perfect on their home turf after beating Villanova 4-0. Kat Mertz's side treated the fans at Papé Field to Oregon's first clean sheet on the season and didn't disappoint on the offensive end either. In each contest this weekend the Ducks scored four goals, and in each game the goals came from four different players. In tonight's match Ally Cook and Maggie Lacy picked up their first goals as Ducks, Maya Hahn scored her second goal in as many games, and Jordan Wormdahl scored her 5th goal of the season when she finished the layoff pass from strike-partner Emma Eddy in the 30th minute. Wormdahl, a Eugene native, became just the third Oregon soccer player of all time to score in four consecutive matches and the first since 2010. To go along with Wormdahls feat, Katelyn Carter played the full 90 minutes and picked up her first clean sheet of the season, possibly a hint towards Carter being named the starting keeper soon. Oregon takes the long trip to South Carolina Wednesday morning to face Clemson on Friday and Furman on Sunday.
