Oregon Softball swept Portland State in the team's double-header Tuesday night, winning 3-1 in the first game before run-ruling the Vikings 8-0 in the second. Miranda Elish went the distance and allowed just one run in the first game, while UO's offense waited until late to light up PSU pitcher Emma Detamore, scoring two runs in the 6th. In the second game, Oregon reached peak efficiency, scoring 8 runs on only 5 hits, while Megan Kleist needed just 48 pitches to throw a 5 inning complete game. Oregon (35-0) will next face UCLA, the team that knocked them out of the last two postseasons, in Los Angeles.
