Quack Smack returns to the airwaves on KWVA from 7-8 pm Monday.
Below is the outline for the first show, hosted by Sports Director Joey McMurry with Assistant Sports Director Ryan Rouillard and KWVA Sports veteran Travis Teich.
Oregon demolishes Cal on the Gridiron
- Two high-powered offenses… Oregon’s was better
- Cal’s opponents were 14-1 (including Oregon) coming into this game… tough schedule
- Ducks were so much better
- First time in school history Ducks have score 50+ points in four consecutive games… and it’ll be 5 next week.
- Miserable night – Ducks capitalized on Bears turnovers
- Goff just couldn’t hang on to the ball
- 4 drives to open the game, 4 turnovers… 5th drive a punt, 6th another turnover
- How much of that was Oregon’s D and how much was the rain?
- No tests for this team through 4 games… concerned?
- They could hit that wall against UW, UCLA or Stanford… it happened last year.
- DAT left the game after the opening kickoff return…
- AUDIO
- Lane Kiffin
- Confernece domination
- Been around this team a long time… records broken so far this season… how good is this offense?
- Nick Aliotti said this was the first test for his secondary… was it?
- Is it concerning this team hasn’t been tested at all this season?
- Who do you see being their first test?
- DAT injury…
- Recapping opening weekend of PAC-12 play
- Ducks took care of business against Oregon State in the Civil War
- Then they played No. 2 Washington really tough for the first three sets
- 25-23 in the first they were right there… 4 service errors in that set
- 2nd set Huskies took it 25-19 but felt closer
- 3rd set was nuts… Joey lost his voice as Ducks won 31-29
- Right there audio
- Then the 4th. 25-8. What the heck happened?
- Still better to be looking at getting better than peaking too early
- Moore audio
- Do you guys see it with this team?
