Oregon baseball responded to its first loss of the season with a 3-1 win over Illinois State on Sunday. Starting pitcher David Peterson led the way for the Ducks, tying his career high with nine strikeouts while allowing only two hits, two walks and no earned runs over eight innings. The win moves Oregon to 6-1 on the season ahead of a three game series against UCSB that'll begin next Friday
