The ducks now are riding a five game winning streak after dominating Santa Clara 10-0 on Saturday afternoon. Starting pitcher Matt Mercer was phenomenal going 7 innings giving up zero runs and striking out 5. Santa Clara wasn't able to get anything going on offense mustering only 3 hits. The offensive star of the day was freshman Gabe Matthews going 4-4 with 3 RBIs. Not to mention he hit his first career college home run with a moon shot over the right field fence.
