No. 6 Oregon (2-0) delivered a blowout performance at Autzen Stadium on Saturday, dismantling the Oklahoma State Cowboys (1-1) in dominant 69-3 fashion. With 631 yards of total offense, the Ducks looked unstoppable, led by quarterback Dante Moore.

Oregon wasted no time setting the tone. On just the second offensive play, sixth-year senior running back Noah Whittington broke through the middle for a 59-yard touchdown, making that his longest rush of his career, showcasing both his poise as a veteran on this team.

“This guy’s got juice—he’s never had a bad day,” said Oregon head coach Dan Lanning. “He’s tough as nails and embodies what it means to be an Oregon Duck.”

True freshman wide receiver Dakorien Moore followed with a highlight-reel moment of his own — burning his defender for a 65-yard touchdown — the longest reception of his young career. A failed two-point conversion attempt left the Ducks up 13-0.

Before the end of the first quarter, another true freshman — running back Dierre Hill Jr. — punched in a 19-yard touchdown on the right side, thanks to a key block by tight end Kenyon Sadiq. That score made it 19-0 Oregon with just over five minutes left in the quarter.

After an illegal shift penalty nullified a 2-point conversion, Oregon settled for a field goal from Atticus Sappington to extend the lead to 20-0.

Oklahoma State finally got on the board early in the second quarter with a 23-yard field goal from redshirt senior Logan Ward, making it 23-3.

But the Ducks kept rolling. Moore connected deep with senior wideout Malik Benson for a 42-yard touchdown completion. Moore then found Dakorien Moore again — this time on a 25-yard rushing score — to continue the lead 34-3.

“(With) his speed, he can run past everybody … he’s been running that route for a long time,” Moore said of Benson. “That’s the guy with the ball in his hands, he’s gonna make a play.”

Just before halftime, junior running back Jayden Limar added a five-yard touchdown rush — his third career score at Oregon — pushing the lead to 41-3 at the break.

The Ducks opened the second half just as strongly. Moore found redshirt senior Gary Bryant Jr. for an 11-yard touchdown to start the third quarter. Soon after, true freshman running back Jordon Davison powered in a one-yard touchdown for another effective drive.

Junior Jerry Mixon and sophomore Peyton Woodyard recorded back-to-back interceptions consecutively off Oklahoma State quarterback Zane Flores, each leading to a touchdown and extending the lead to 69-3 within just 45 seconds.

For the first time in the game, the Cowboys outgained the Ducks in a quarter — but the damage had long been done.

Before the game, quarterback Austin Novosad was listed as questionable, leaving Luke Moga to take the offense under his wing for Oregon in the fourth quarter. However, he did not add to Oregon’s already bulldozing lead.

With nine guys scoring for Oregon on the day, it's clear that the Ducks have a plethora of players who can make an offensive impact.

“We want to be the team that beats you by air and land … and that showed up today,” Lanning said.

With another dominant win under their belts, the Ducks continue to apply offensive pressure, hitting the road for Illinois to take on Northwestern this Saturday, Sept. 13, with kickoff set for 9:00 a.m. PST.
