No. 1 Oregon Earns Berth in the 2014 Women's College World Series with 6-2 Victory Over Minnesota

The top-ranked Oregon Ducks clinched a spot in the 2014 WCWS with a 6-2 Super Regional Game 2 victory on Sunday over No. 16 Minnesota Sunday at Howe Field after beating the Gophers 10-2 in Game 1 on Saturday. Janie Takeda had a stellar game for Oregon, finishing 2-2 with three RBI on the day. Oregon ace Cheridan Hawkins went the distance once again, going all seven innings while giving up just three hits, two earned runs and striking out seven.
