A seven run third inning propelled the Oregon Ducks to a Civil War series victory over the Oregon State Beavers on Sunday in Corvallis. OSU struck first with one run in the bottom of the first inning before Oregon had an offensive explosion after the Beavers picked up the first two outs of the third. Karissa Hovinga went the distance for the Ducks and tallied her 11th win of the season. Oregon takes the field once again Monday for the final game of the Civil War Series. Cheridan Hawkins will get the start according to Oregon head coach Mike White. The Ducks return home to start a three-game series with the California Golden Bears in Eugene.
