MBB | Pritchard's Strong Shooting Leads Oregon Past California

Oregon men's basketball returned to .500 in Pac-12 play on Wednesday night with a 73-62 win over California. After a sluggish start doomed the Ducks in Boulder the weekend before, Oregon's offense found a better rhythm in the fist half Wednesday night. After exchanging runs through the first 12 minutes, Oregon used its press defense, Kenny Wooten's freakish athleticism and three made threes from Payton Pritchard to end the half on a 19-6 run and lead 32-21 at the break. Though Cal came out with a more efficient approach on offense, Oregon had an answer at every turn and shot a lights-out 65% from the floor in the second half. Leading the way was Pritchard, who notched a season-high five made threes for a game-high 19 points and 10 rebounds, good enough for his first double-double of the season. Behind the junior guard were three more Ducks in Louis King, Paul White and Kenny Wooten, who all scored in double-figures. Listen below to a full game story on the Ducks' victory over Cal.
