Oregon's cinderella story continues as they take down #5 Wisconsin behind a strong defense second half. Oregon shot 17-24 in the second half and made 83% of their shots from deep. In the second half, the Ducks blocked four shots and forced the Badgers to shoot 11-36 from the field in that second half. In the first half, Oregon was out-rebounded 19-15, but flipped the switch and won the rebound category 19-15 in that second half. The Ducks as a team kept Ethan Happ, one of the nation's top players to 12 points and zero assists. Pritchard kept his hot streak going as he scored 19 points on 8-18 shooting. King added 17 and was 3-3 from deep. White also chipped in with 14 points on 5-7 shooting. Oregon as a team forced 13 turnovers out of a team that averages 9.5 turnovers a game. Those turnovers led to 12 points.
The Ducks will look to make it 10 in a row as they play for a bid in the Sweet 16 Sunday against UC Irvine. Friday marked the third time that the Ducks and Badgers meet in the NCAA tournament, but Oregon's first time that they have won in March.
