FB | No. 23 Oregon Downs FCS Portland State to Improve to 2-0

A whole slew of Oregon Ducks made an impact in the 62-14 victory against FCS foe Portland State. The Ducks' offense saw 11 different receivers with at least one catch, four of whom scored. Oregon receiver's Brendan Schooler and Jaylon Redd led the way, combining for 7 catches and 66 yards with a touchdown. Running backs Tony Brooks-James and CJ Verdell were the most productive rushers for the Ducks, each rushing for over 100 yards while Verdell also averaged 9.6 yards-per-carry. Brooks-James also added two touchdowns in the game. Portland State's offense had trouble running against the Oregon front-seven. The Vikings mustered only 66 yards against the Ducks, who sacked PSU Quarterback Jalani Eason four times. Eason did have two touchdown passes to Charlie Taumoepeau, one a 71-yard pass and the other a was a four-yard catch during Portland State's only red zone opportunity of the game.
