EUGENE, OR - The Evergreen State Geoducks came to Eugene looking to snap a 14-game losing streak against the Bushnell Beacons. Despite a 14-point double-double from Junior Tyler Williford, the Geoducks were absolutely dominated by Bushnell with a final score of 111-61.

The Beacon's strategy seemed to be to contain Evergreen St. Jordan Joseph (the best free throw shooter in the country) and that worked successfully for them last he remained 0-6 from beyond the arc and missed two free throws in the second half.

The story of the game was truly Bushnell Junior Stevie Schlabach who secured his place as the 3rd all-time scorer in Beacons Mens Basketball history. He finished the contest with 21 points and 18 rebounds. During the first half, Schlabach was accompanied by Kaden Sand, who had to leave during the first half with a hit to the face. Sand was able to return during the second half and finished with 13 points.

Undeterred by consistent foul trouble throughout the game, Beacons and their energetic student section were riding high to the very end of a blowout matchup as they look to keep their postseason hopes alive.
