Visiting Michigan State scored once each in the 8th and 11th innings to take game one in a three-game set from the Oregon Ducks on Friday night. The Spartans drew 10 walks, including a couple leadoff walks that helped score the only two runs of the night for MSU. Game two will be played as scheduled Saturday at 2:00, but Oregon head coach George Horton indicated a possibility that a doubleheader could take place, with game three to follow later on Saturday.
